The date and time of the election of the new Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha, one of the local government institutions that failed to obtain 50% of the votes in the 2025 local government elections, has been announced by the Southern Local Government Commissioner through an Extraordinary Gazette Notification on 04.05.2025.

Accordingly, the Gazette has announced that the election will be 
held at the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha on 17.06.2025 at 10.00 am.
