A tree-planting program, organized to mark “Environment and Tree Planting Day” held in conjunction with the “Cities of Renaissance 2026” Local Government Week was successfully conducted today (September 16, 2026) at the Neluwa Public Playground premises.

The event was held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha, Mr. R. G. Ajith Chandana, and the Secretary, with the participation of Pradeshiya Sabha members and staff.

We extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to this community-oriented initiative, which was carried out with the aim of creating a greener environment for future generations.
