Under the project to rehabilitate areas damaged by the ‘Ditwa’ cyclonic storm, the renovation of the Medagama-Yagala Road located within the Medagama Grama Niladhari Division of the Neluwa electoral division (under the purview of the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha) has now been successfully completed.
Implemented by the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha, this road development project incurred an expenditure of 2.5 million rupees. The road has been developed to a width of 9 feet (2.7 meters) and a length of 482 feet (147 meters). This improvement now enables local residents who use the road to carry out their daily travel and transportation activities with greater ease and efficiency.
