Coinciding with the “Cities of Renaissance” Local Government Week, a special awareness lecture on community health, the control of communicable diseases, and sex education was conducted today (September 17, 2026) for students at the Ambalegedara Youth Corps Training Centre.

Facilitated by Ayurvedic Community Medical Officer Mr. M. M. Marasinghe, the program aimed to provide adolescent students with a valuable understanding of community health safety.
