Opening of new shops at the Dust Falls Tourist Precinct
Under the chairmanship of the Honorable Governor of Southern Province, Mr. Wheelie Gamage, the new stalls built in Neluva Duslu Ella Tourist Precinct were handed over to the people. Mr. Sampath Athukorala, Hon’ble Chairman of Neluwa Regional Council and other councilors participated.
Plantation of plants in Neluwa Children’s Garden
A tree planting program at Neluwa Children’s Garden will be conducted on 2023.02.07 at the premises of Neluwa Children’s Garden under the coordination of the Youth Affairs Officer of Neluwa Divisional Secretariat.
Environmental Program
An environmental program was carried out on 13.02.2023 at Dellawa Bedwala Tourist Station, which is located in Neluwa Tourist Area. Accordingly, the polythene and plastic wastes in the premises were removed and for this purpose the secretary of the local council participated.
Cleaning of Duili Falls Tourist Precinct
On 23.12.2022, with the participation of Vidyarthaina (Leo Club) of Colombo University, a labor contribution program was held for the removal of polythene and plastic waste at Duvili Ella Tourist Complex.
