Obtaining a vehicle on a rental basis
Quotations are invited under the following conditions for the rental of a small truck to provide
the necessary transportation facilities for the street lamp repair work in the Neluwa Pradeshiya
Sabha area.For this purpose, I kindly request you to apply through a formal application form
obtained from the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha and submit your quotation for the use of your vehicle.
1. You must provide fuel and make repairs yourself.
2. The starting point for transportation is the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha head office.
3. Services should be provided between 7.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
4. The service is provided as needed and the number of days per month is not specified.
5. This service is provided subject to a contract and if you withdraw from providing that service,
you must inform the council one month in advance.
6. The rent will be paid by cheque 10 days after the end of the relevant month.
7. Transportation facilities should be provided to any location within the Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha.
8. The vehicle cannot be used for any other purpose on the day we receive the service.
9. Only one application can be submitted per vehicle.
10. The fee will be revised only in the event of a significant change in fuel prices and only with formal council approval.
11. Applications should be submitted by registered post or to the head office before 2025.08.05.
12. When sending letters, the letter should be marked “Provision of vehicles on hire basis” at
the top of the letter and should be addressed to “The Chairman, Neluwa Pradeshiya Sabha, Neluwa”.
